1. QR Code Types and Service Levels

Static QR Codes

Static QR codes contain data directly and work independently forever. They cannot be edited after creation and provide no tracking analytics. Static QR codes are available with a 14-day free trial, then $5/month for 10 QR Codes a month and additional credits available to creat more.

Dynamic QR Codes

Dynamic QR codes are editable and provide tracking analytics. They require an active paid subscription to continue working. Dynamic QR codes are available starting at $10/month. IF you cancel your account dynamic QR Codes will continue working for 30 days, but you will lose access to your dashboard to view, edit, or retrieve analytics. Because dynamic QR Codes require database and site usage to continue working, they will stop working after 30 days.

2. Account Lifecycle and QR Code Continuity

Active Accounts

While your account is active and in good standing, all QR codes function normally with full features.

Account Closure or Expiration

When your account is closed or expires:

• Dynamic QR codes continue working normally for 30 days
• After 30 days, dynamic QR codes show a warning message for an additional 5 months
• After 6 months total, dynamic QR codes stop working permanently
• Static QR codes are unaffected and continue working forever

Deleted QR Codes

When you delete QR codes from your account, they are moved to a recycle bin and remain functional for 30 days before being permanently deleted.

Important Cancellation & Data Retention Policy

When you cancel your plan:

• Static QR Codes – Any static QR codes you have downloaded will continue to function indefinitely. You may continue to use them without limitation, provided they are hosted or printed independently. We do not guarantee the continued hosting of static QR codes on our servers after cancellation.
• Account Access – Once your subscription ends, access to your account dashboard will be suspended. You will not be able to edit QR codes, view analytics, or create new codes.
• Editable & Trackable QR Codes – These codes will remain active for 30 calendar days after cancellation. After this period, they will be temporarily deactivated but securely stored for up to 6 months. If you reactivate your account within this 6-month window, your editable and trackable QR codes will be restored.
• Data Retention & Deletion – After 6 months from the date of cancellation, we may permanently delete your account data, including QR code configurations, analytics, and any associated media, without further notice.

We reserve the right to modify this policy, including retention periods and service features, in accordance with our Terms of Service.

3. Use of the Service

You may use our QR code generation tools for lawful purposes only. We do not permit illegal, harmful, or malicious use of our service.

4. Account Creation and Billing

When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all billing obligations.

5. Data and Privacy

We respect your privacy. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and generated code on this site is owned by QR Code Better or its licensors QR vCard Garden LLC. Do not use our assets without permission.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for damages caused by service interruptions.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our service at any time, especially if misuse is detected. Upon termination, the account lifecycle policies described above apply.

9. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated occasionally. By continuing to use the service, you agree to any future changes. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
